Description
Sweet peppers are often used fresh in salads, or cooked into pasta sauces and are very high in vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals making it highly nutritive. It is mostly the pungent peppers that are used medicinally.

Capsicum are frost and cold tender EVERGREEN PERENNIALS that are often grown as annuals, reaching a height of 1m. Prefers growing in a moist well-drained soil in full sun. White flowers are followed by fruits which get larger and ripen from green to bright red, but can be eaten green.
Cultivated for its fruit which is eaten raw or cooked as a vegetable. Californian Wonder is an heirloom that has large, thick-walled, tender and flavourful fruit.
