Lavender – Fern Leaf

A small EVERGREEN SHRUB with grey and wooly stems that have double pinnate leaves and dark blue or blue-violet flowers borne on long stems. Noted for attracting wildlife, especially bees. It grows in most soils, preferring a well-drained soil in full sun. Can grow in alkaline and saline soils. Not used as culinary or medicinal herb, although it is still aromatic.
