Agastache ‘Raspberry Daiquiri’ (Agastache aurantiaca) is a perennial in the mint (Lamiaceae) family that grows to around 50–70 cm tall and 30–45 cm wide. It prefers full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil. It has aromatic green foliage and produces vibrant raspberry-pink flower spikes through summer and autumn, beloved by bees, and butterflies.
Agastache is used as a culinary herb with edible flowers and leaves lending a sweet, minty-anise flavour to salads and teas; as a companion plant it attracts pollinators and beneficial insects to the garden. While not strictly used as a medicinal herb it is part of the agastaches that has traditional uses for easing coughs and supporting digestion. It makes for a good choice for cut flowers due to its vibrant raspberry-colored blooms and attractive foliage.
