Edible leaves are beautiful in salads, or on sandwhiches. Can be cooked as a spinach or with spinach. Has some medicinal values attributed to it.
MeadowSweet Herbs & Flowers Nursery and Herb Education Centre is now closed for orders from 16 December 2025 until mid-January 2026 while I take a short festive break.

Sorrel – Red-veined : seeds

Blood-veined Sorrel is a PERENNIAL plant growing to 60cm with deep roots, juicy stems and edible, red-veined leaves with a sharp sour taste. Prefers full sun or semi-shade position in moist soil. Edible leaves can be added to salads.
