Capsicum – Tequila Bell Pepper (Capsicum annuum)


Capsicum are frost and cold tender EVERGREEN PERENNIALS that are often grown as annuals, reaching a height of 1m. Prefers growing in a moist well-drained soil in full sun. White flowers are followed by fruits which get larger and ripen from green to bright red, but can be eaten green.
Cultivated for its fruit which is eaten raw or cooked as a vegetable. Tequila bell peppers are purple-hued (ripens to red eventually) and grow on small productive plants.
With a sweet taste and crisp, juicy texture.
