Cauliflower – Violet Scicillian (Brassica oleracea ‘Botrytis’)


Cauliflowers are the immature flowering heads eaten as a vegetable, raw or cooked and has a mild cabbage like flavour. Leaves can also be eaten and make a good cooked vegetable.
The Violet Sicilian headed cauliflower is an Italian heirloom that produces purple coloured heads.
