Italian parsley, Flat-leaf Parsley

A BIENNIAL growing to 60cm. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Flat-leaf parsley has tripinnate leaves that are flat (not curly) and is said to have stronger flavour than the curly variety.
Leaves are frequently used as a flavouring and garnish, and eaten raw or cooked. It has a long history as a traditional domestic herbal remedy.
