As a qualified horticulturist and studying herbalist, I delight in growing useful plants, and pride myself in maturing them into strong and healthy specimens so that they are well hardened off to go straight in the ground in your garden.
Stock and Specials
Check back here often as offerings change with the seasons, and I'll run some specials from here too.
If there's a particular food or medicine plant that you are after that is not listed, please send me a message and I'll see if I can get some growing for you. I have a very extensive seed stash, and contacts with interesting plant enthusiasts across the country, and would be happy to try and help you find your special plant.
If you're not around North Canterbury, but would love to get some of my plants, you are more than welcome to send me a list of plants plus your address and I'll get back to you with courier costs. I've shipped my plants successfully before. There is a minimum order of 5 plants for shipping, and courier costs range from $6.50 - $12.50 for up to 8 plants (more or less, depending on the actual plants) in a small courier box. Shipping will be worked out and confirmed via email before finalizing your order.
Delayed shipping, RURAL delivery
Sometimes, especially if it is Far North, or when it's a rural address, especially north of Wellington, soft plants and plants that require a lot of water, do not arrive in an ideal condition because of timing delays between islands and the schedules of rural carriers. Please note that if you are rural or generally suffer long delays in post, while I take every care to ensure their optimal packing, I cannot guarantee the state of the plants and you accept full responsibility for delayed or failed delivery when you order.
Growing and Use Information
You will find growing and use information on all the plants I sell on this website, but I'm also always available for an email question, so feel free to send me a message if you have specific questions.
