Capsicum & Chillies

Capsicums are a frost and cold tender EVERGREEN PERENNIAL that is often grown as an annual, reaching up to 1m in height. A medium-sized chili pepper pod is 5–10 cm long and hangs down with a round, firm, smooth flesh. It is mild to medium (1,000 – 20,000 SHU). Commonly picked and consumed while still green, it is occasionally allowed to fully ripen and turn red, orange or yellow. Prefers growing in a moist well-drained soil in full sun.
