Plants in the Capsicum genus
Thank you for your interest in herb plants from MeadowSweet Herbs & Flowers. I've closed plant order processing for 2024/5 season. Online orders for plants will open again mid August for pre-orders with plants being shipped from mid September onwards.

Chilli – Jalapeno
$7.50Capsicums are a frost and cold tender EVERGREEN PERENNIAL that is often grown as an annual, reaching up to 1m in height. A medium-sized chili pepper pod is 510 cm long and hangs down with a round, firm, smooth flesh. It is mild to medium (1,000 – 20,000 SHU). Commonly picked and consumed while still green, it is occasionally allowed to fully ripen and turn red, orange or yellow. Prefers growing in a moist well-drained soil in full sun.
