Description
Sweet peppers are often used fresh in salads, or cooked into pasta sauces and are very high in vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals making it highly nutritive. It is mostly the pungent peppers that are used medicinally.
Thank you for your interest in herb plants from MeadowSweet Herbs & Flowers. I've closed plant order processing for 2024/5 season. Online orders for plants will open again mid August for pre-orders with plants being shipped from mid September onwards.
Seeds will become available from May.

Capsicum – Tequila Bell Pepper

Capsicum are frost and cold tender EVERGREEN PERENNIALS that are often grown as annuals, reaching a height of 1m. Prefers growing in a moist well-drained soil in full sun. White flowers are followed by fruits which get larger and ripen from green to bright red, but can be eaten green.
Cultivated for its fruit which is eaten raw or cooked as a vegetable. Tequila bell peppers are purple-hued (ripens to red eventually) and grow on small productive plants.
With a sweet taste and crisp, juicy texture.
