Mint – Pennyroyal mint

A PERENNIAL low growing native to Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Leaves emit a very strong mint fragrance
Used to create a minty lawn, although it does not withstand too heavy foot traffic. Scented leaves are no longer suggested as medicinal although pennyroyal is a traditional folk remedy as it is toxic to the liver and has caused some deaths.
