The large succulent-like leaves are strongly oregano-mint flavoured making it wonderful herb to eat fresh or use as a food flavouring. The nutritional and medicinal phytochemicals in this herb make it a highly valued as a natural pharmaceutical.

Description

A semi-succulent fast-growing PERENNIAL in the mint family. A strong oregano-like flavour gives it the common name Cuban Oregano.

Grows easily in well-drained semi-shaded position. Although it performs best in subtropical and tropical locations, other cooler climates can easily grow the herb in a pot or brought indoors over the colder winter moths.
