Description
Achillea filipendulina ‘Golden Coronation’ is a striking yarrow variety reaching 90–120 cm tall, with upright stems topped by large, flat clusters of deep golden-yellow flowers throughout summer. Its finely divided, aromatic grey-green leaves provide texture and contrast in the garden. Strong-stemmed blooms are long-lasting, both fresh and dried, making this cultivar a favourite for cut flower growers and cottage gardens. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soils, it is drought-tolerant once established and a magnet for bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects. Unlike some yarrows, it is not particularly used medicinally, being mainly grown for ornamental and pollinator purposes.
