Echinacea purpurea ‘White Swan’ is a perennial in the daisy (Asteraceae) family that grows to around 75–90 cm tall and 45–60 cm wide. It prefers full sun and moist but well-drained soils. It has pure white petals surrounding a golden cone, offering a striking contrast in the garden. ‘White Swan’ is used as a medicinal herb, loved by pollinators, and excellent in cottage and cut flower gardens. Hardy in most NZ climates.
