Ajuga – Pink Spires
$7.50Ths Ajuga is a low growing EVERGREEN PERENNIAL with light to deep green leaves that make a dense spreading ground cover and in spring sends up 15cm flower stalks bearing many pink flowers that are very attractive to bees and butterflies. It grows well in full shade, semi-shade or full sun and can tolerate some drought.
Leaves and young shoots are edible raw and it has some history as a wound herb, but is rarely used today.

Alyssum – sweet
$5.50Alyssum is a low growing ANNUAL reaching 20cm in height. The much branched stem has small, broad oval to lanceolate sessile leaves and dense clusters of small flowers. Noted for their sweet scent like honey, they come in white, pink, salmon, rose-red, violet and lilac and are known to attract insects such as bees. The plant does well in almost any well-drained soil in a full sun position.
Young leaves, stems and flowers can be added to salads or as an edible garnish. Has some medicinal use, especially in Spain.

Catmint – Common
$6.50Easy to grow PERENNIAL with tall flowering spikes up to 1.2m tall. It has aromatic opposite heart-shaped, green to gray-green leaves and lavender-blue flowers. Related to catnip, but much showier, and very attractive to bees. Most catmints prefer full sun and well-drained, not overly fertile soil. While not as enticing to cats as true catnip, felines may still try to roll on catmints.

Chamomile – True Lawn (Trenegue)
$7.50An EVERGREEN PERENNIAL that forms a delightful fragrant ornamental edging or groundcover. Prefers hot and dry sunny sites, but can grow in partial shade.

Gotu Kola
$8.50An EVERGREEN HERBACEOUS PERENNIAL growing to 20cm and spreading. Frost tender , it can grow in semi-shaded areas or in full sun, and prefers moist or wet soils.
Stems are slender, creeping stolons from a cream-coloured rhizomatous rootstock. Leaves are kidney-shaped and palmately veined.
It is used as a culinary vegetable and as medicinal herb. -
Marjoram – Golden ‘Acorn Banks’
$7.50A hardy mat-forming PERENNIAL growing to 40cm with bright golden-green leaves. Prefers a full sun position (brighter leaves) or semi-shade (leaves tend to be more green) and well-drained soil. Leaves are edible, and used much the same as marjoram and oregano to flavour Mediterranean dishes.

$12.50A PERENNIAL growing to 90cm with a sprawling habit. Prefers a well-drained soil in full sun or semi-shade.
Eaten as a medicinal vegetable.
