The physical nursery and gates sales table plant stand is also closed over winter and will be up and running in spring 2025 for the 2025/26 growing season.

Leaves are eaten raw or cooked, fresh or dried and has a a peppery flavour. Mainly used in cooking stews and soups, or dishes with beans.
As with summer savory and winter savory, it is a good digestive aid, is antiseptic, aromatic, carminative, and stomachic and relieves wasp stings. The growing plant repels insect pests.
